Reborn

These are instruments that were traded in for another Müb. We disassemble them, fix the inevitable dents and dings, refinish them, level/buff frets, re-fret if necessary. Until they become as good as new. Then offer them at a reduced price. Take your pick.
 
J5 Mk1 Raintree - Used, Mint conditions.  $2300 (price new $3200)
 

This bass was completed and sold in 2024. The original owner just traded it in for a new instrument and we wereabsolutely shocked by how well it was taken care of. It looks like it never left the shop! 

As you know, we would normally strip down the instrument and refinish it, maybe refret it etc. This bass didn't need any of that, except a light fret dressing/buffing. It's that new.

Specs. Solid, single piece raintree body with matching headstock plate. Outstanding grain. Five piece maple/padauk neck, graphite reinforced. 22 fret pau ferro board; white mather of pearl side dots. Richlite pickguard and knobs. Passive, Active-Ready. Aguilar J pickups. Hipshot hardware.  High gloss lacquer finish (body); satin neck finish. 3.9kg/8.6lbs. Massive tone, huge lows, tight mids, clear top-end.
