The X3M. The Most Versatile.

The X3M is a bass like you've never seen before. A huge tonal palette thanks to five interchangeable necks and scale lengths to choose from, each with its own ideal tuning and unique voice. Its intuitive detachable neck system allows to quickly store neck and body inside its airline friendly gig bag. Locked strings and intonation ensure that the X3M is ready to groove in a blink.

Starting prices and basic specs: Body: Nyatoh, Raintree, Kasah. One Bartolini Single coil p-up, passive V/T.  ETS/MüB hardware.
Neck: One piece maple neck.  Fretboard (zero fret/zero radius) : Ovangkol, ironwood (only 4, 5), maple. Handrubbed poly finish.

The 30 and neck comes with its custom gig bag, which is long enough to fit the X3M 22.75" fully assembled).

We offer a package price for orders of two necks and above.

X3M fits standard strings, no double ball end ones. 30" and 32" scale length gives you a tight low B, big lows, great snap and articulation. 27", 25.5" and 22.75" scale necks are tuned to low E. You can also look at them as tenor to baritone scale lengths, each with its unique voice. The18" neck is tuned to B1 like the 12th fret on a 34" scale.
Options:

Adding a top (chambers inlcuded) starts at $250. We have tons of beautiful tops.
Dual coil p-up upgrade: $100. Second p-up: $200. Coil tap: $100.
Bartolini, Aguilar, Nordstrand preamp: 2 band a/p ($340); 3 band a/p, mid freq sw ($390).
MüB-H headphone/aux-in amp $250.
